About The Campus Feed

The Campus Feed gives real-world communities a private place to connect and share what matters to them as a group.

Communities are full of things people want to share, ask, find, sell, promote, organize, and talk about. But those conversations are often scattered across group chats, social media, bulletin boards, email lists, and word of mouth.

The Campus Feed gives each community its own shared Feed for those everyday conversations.

Ask a question. Post an event. Sell something you no longer need. Look for a recommendation. Share some news. Find someone who can help. Organize a get-together. Start a conversation about something your community cares about.

And unlike a public social network, each Feed is built around a defined community.

A Feed for your community

A Private Social Feed can be created for a college or university, a housing community, or a group of people with a shared interest.

Each Feed is separate. The people, posts, conversations, and activity in one community stay within that Feed.

Depending on the community, membership may be verified through an eligible email address or approved by a Feed administrator. Members can also invite people they know to join.

Users can create and join Groups within a Feed for more specific interests, activities, or conversations while still being part of the larger community.

Private by design

Private Social Feed is built around a simple idea: not every conversation needs to happen in front of the entire internet.

A neighborhood, a college community, a group of collectors, or any other real-world community can have its own place to talk without turning those conversations into public social media.

Each Feed has its own membership and administration, so the people participating have a connection to the community they are joining.

Independent communities

Private Social Feed is an independent platform. A Feed created around a school, housing community, organization, interest, or other community does not imply affiliation with or endorsement by that institution, property, organization, or community.

Posts, replies, messages, and other content are created by members of each Feed and do not represent Private Social Feed or any institution or organization associated with that community.

The Feed gets better when people use it

There is no complicated formula behind The Campus Feed. The more people in a community participate, the more useful its Feed becomes.
